We first saw the release of amiibo alongside the release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, with an amiibo released for each and every playable fighter. With the addition of so many fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this has led to many more characters being released as amiibo and there are still more to come. We already had release dates for upcoming amiibo next month and now eight more have been given release dates.

Following up on the release of Pokemon Trainer, Isabelle, and Pichu coming next month, four more amiibo are coming on September 20th, including three from the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate line with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Snake The other is the Link’s Awakening amiibo we already told you about.

A couple months later in November, we will be getting amiibo for Incineroar, Chrom, and Simon Belmont. Lastly, we have the announcement and images for both Dark Samus and Richter for an unannounced month in 2020. It would be assumed these will come in the first few months, but there is no guarantee for that.

Not including the Fighter Pass characters of Joker, Hero, and Banjo-Kazooie, this concludes the base roster amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The question now is whether or not we would get additional amiibo for drastically different looking characters such as Princess Zelda, but that has yet to be announced in anyway at this point.
